It’s a tough time for everyone just now. And that definitely goes for business owners and sales people who are trying to make connections, build relationships and develop new business opportunities.
An ever-increasing number of us are using video – Zoom, Skype, Google Hangout Meets, MS Teams, etc – to keep communication and visibility up, whether that’s for 1-1 or group meetings.
Is video as effective as face-to-face for building relationships? No. But that doesn’t mean it’s not effective because it is! It’s the best currently available way to see our contacts and clients and keep meetings going. Add in phone calls, email, social media, etc and we’re still developing both new and existing business relationships.

- Well done to all our ABN Contact Builders who are continuing to build relationships on a 1-1 basis
- Well done to all 1-1 networking skills audit/training clients who are using this time to sharpen up their knowledge, skills and confidence
In fact, well done to everyone who has embraced networking by video! Face-to-face will be back. But in the meantime, let’s get online, get on the screen and keep chatting
